Born in Peru, Giancarlo Perez (Gian Xavier) began his musical path at age five, performing with orchestras, folkloric ensembles, and choirs, later representing one of Peru’s top music schools in national showcases. After relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area, he expanded his craft as a gospel music director, sharpening his skills in vocal arrangement, rhythm, and live performance.

Gian is a producer, arranger and songwriter working across Latin, world, and orchestral pop in both Spanish and English, Giancarlo is the founder of GXP Music Group, a creative hub for artist and musician collaboration focused on emotionally driven music. Influenced by cinematic scores like The Lion King and Encanto, his work blends orchestral depth with globally rooted pop storytelling.
